Summer 2025
The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. (Psalm 116:6-8)
In the midst of life’s trials, we have the promise that the Lord is always there. In the uncertainty of our broken world, we have the assurance that God controls the outcome. In the sadness of illness and loss of loved ones, Our Father continually offers us rest and peace.
Ministry News
Over the past quarter, Dave was responsible for overseeing the transition to a new internet provider at Bibles International, which will save approximately $150/mo. What started out smoothly ended up taking much longer to complete the changeover. However, now that it is finished, we are already seeing the benefits of the move. We have also begun migrating to a new IT services provider, which will provide greater security and better value versus our current provider.
Ruth had the opportunity to speak at a Mother-Daughter Brunch in May, and she is taking on more responsibilities in her new Marketing Communications Coordinator role (while continuing as Children’s Ministry Coordinator). She is thrilled to be utilizing her training and past work experience in writing, editing, and publishing to advance the ministries of BI. Some of her work focuses on the BI Briefings magazine, new print and presentation materials, conference ads, and a video script.
Translation Project Highlight After 28 years, the Phyle* people in a restricted access nation in South America will soon have the New Testament available in their language. An agricultural community of roughly 24,000, the Phyle cultivate cassava and depend on hunting and fishing for their food. In 1997, Bibles International adopted the New Testament translation project, which missionaries had already begun. The translation work is now complete, the printing has taken place, and the dedication is anticipated for later this year. Praise the Lord!

Children's Missions Project
Since launching the 2025 BI Children's Missions Project material, The Toolbox, we have begun receiving positive feedback from churches who have used the material. We have also received our first gifts toward the project. Please contact Ruth if you would like to learn more about The Toolbox or to give to the 2025 Children's Missions Project.
Ongoing Support Needs
Since joining Bibles International, we have had an ongoing need for additional monthly support. Several of our churches and individual supporters have increased support, for which we are truly grateful. However, we have also gradually lost support, which has kept the overall need at roughly $450/mo. Thank you for your prayers and faithful giving for our ministry.
May God grant you peace and security daily!

Church Meetings
Many weekends over the past quarter have included travel to visit supporting churches. This has kept us busy as we are in the office during the week and traveling on weekends.
In May, we attended Amber’s commencement at Miami University in Oxford, OH with a double major. She has one more year of school for an additional degree while working full-time.
In June, Ruth had a wonderful trip to visit her extended family in Spokane and California. She also had several opportunities to share our ministry, including reporting to a supporting church.
